To meet eligibility for the attendance requirement, the following guidelines are in place:

  • Graduate with a 95% attendance rate, based on four years;

  • Cumulative attendance information used by the A+ Coordinator/Counselors will come from the official attendance records kept by the Montgomery County R-II School District;

  • For students who attend Hart Career Center for four periods a day, attendance information will be gathered from Hart Career Center and sent to the high school attendance secretary who will add this information to the Montgomery County R-II School District records;

  • Following the end of each semester, the A+ Coordinator/Counselor will send the attendance information to the student and parent(s). This information will include the cumulative percentage of attendance;

  • After receiving this information, the student and/or parent will have 10 days to file an absence appeal with the A+ Coordinator;
